Red 1969 GTO convertible owned by Chris Murray from Simcoe, Ontario Canada. This was our Picture Of The Week for 3-9-08. Chris tells us how he got it, "I found this car under a tarp that was seen from the road one afternoon. Only the tail lights were showing and I knew it was a GTO. I went to the door and talked to owner who told me it had not been driven for about seven years. He told me that it was a convertible and I asked him about selling. He said only if you're going to restore it due to that was his plan but no time. I bought the car and began a two year restoration. Everything on the car was number matching. The car was kept original except for radial tires, blacked out grille, and an Edelbrock carb. The car is fun, fast and beautiful." CLICK->
