This is a "Coming Soon" poster for the xXx action movie. Some of the early promotional posters featured actress Asia Argento. The later versions had her removed from the photo.
CLICK->
Not english. A Japanese movie poster that came out before the release of the movie. Can someone translate the writing on it? CLICK->
This is an xXx movie theater mylar sign. This is not a poster. It is an original theatrical mylar flag in mint condition. It measures about 11 1/2" x 2 1/2". A mylar is a translucent plastic advertisement. These can usually be seen in your theater's box
office on the top or bottom of the show-time listing board. They are
back-lit and advertise some of the movies that are currently showing. CLICK->
Now this is a special car. It is one of several xXx movie cars that appeared in the summer blockbuster flick. This particular one I call the "ebay #1 car". It was sold on ebay in the summer of 2002. The car has the looks of the main car, but like most movie cars, it is not complete. This one has an interior that only loosely approximates the "real" one. CLICK->
This is the engine compartment of the "ebay #1 car". You can see that several modifications were performed in here. I'm guessing that this car got to jump a little bit. They added a reinforcement bar that goes from the frame, across the engine, and down to the other frame rail. Then they put some big shocks and springs in, attaching them to the reinforcement bar. Check out the inner fenderwells. They are cut out. They arched them up higher to allow more suspension (jumping!) travel. Nevermind the Chevy engine in there. Forget you saw that. CLICK->
The xXx stunt car I am calling the "ebay #1 car". This is another engine view. Here, you can see another view of the reinforcement bar. Also note how the tops of the extra shock absorbers are attached to the bar. CLICK->
The paint on the stunt cars appears to be different colors at different angles. All the movie cars had this unusual hood scoop on them. Are you checking out the gauges on top of the dashpad? More like tin cans. Really, wait for the closeup. CLICK->
Here is the profile of the xXx "ebay #1 car". Note how this side of the car has no side pipe running along the rocker panel. CLICK->
A closeup of the wheel on the "ebay #1 car". Stylin with the B.F. Goodrich Radial TA's. Those are Weld Racing wheels. CLICK->
We have obtained a lot of pics of the "xXx" movie car that was for sale on ebay in the summer of 2002. This 1967 LeMans says "GTO". CLICK->
A rear view of the "ebay #1 car" shows the unique license plate. It has reflective jewels embedded in the plate. The size of the plate is unusual. Can anyone tell me where a plate like this originated? Maybe there is a license plate collector whom has some info on that type of plate? CLICK->
The "ebay #1 car" in the parking garage, posing for more photos so it can find a new home. Hmm. Check out the side pipe along the right side of the car. CLICK->
How about a closeup of the rightside side pipe? Here, you can also see what the rear of the hood scoop looks like. No door handles. More on that later. CLICK->
The xXx movie car I call "ebay #1 car". It is missing the trim piece along the top of the windshield. CLICK->
This is a low closeup of the "ebay #1 car". Its got the KY 29-0 plate with no jewels stuck on. PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...

Says Steve Lazanas (ls6m22.@att.net) - "I find the site very useful. I have been a Chevy guy for a long time, and now I am interested in learning about Pontiacs."
