Most of the passenger side rear fender is cut away for replacement. It's interesting that they cut around the rear side marker light to keep it in place. I'm not sure why, except that it assures that the light will not be placed in the wrong place after the fender is replaced. CLICK->
The body is painted on the rotisserie. Metal bars have been welded from the dash to rear fender so that the convertible body doesn't twist or bend. Unlike a hardtop, the strength of a convertible is in the frame. CLICK->
