Carousel Red 1969 GTO convertible owned by Jeff Rice. Jeff commented, "I have had my car for 24 years now. I bought it when I was a junior in high school for $150 without the engine. I've made a few improvements to it over the years." CLICK->

Jeff Peters just got his 1969 GTO convertible out of the paint booth (1/11/03). It's painted Volicity Red. Jeff tells us, "I bought the car in New York on 9-11-02. It was in drivable, but rough, shape. Although it made the 14 hour drive back to Illinois." CLICK->
The Judge stripes and badges are done in harliquin colors. Maybe there's a prize for identifying the car in the background. CLICK->
Here's another angle on the Judge stripes and logo. They color shift. CLICK->
Here's an update on Jeff's finished Velocity Red 1969 GTO convertible project. Jeff adds, "I have taken it to 2 shows so far and people love the stripe! It's the harliquin colors, so nobody is sure of what they're seeing." CLICK->

Here's a shot of Jeff's 69 and Mark's black 70 Judges standing in front of the Courthouse. Jeff adds, "Where else would you find them? I think I can speak for both of us by saying, 'These Judges can't be bought'." CLICK->
Warwick Blue 1969 GTO convertible owned by Mark Simiele from Emerson, New Jersey. Mark had this story to tell, "After owning and later sadly selling my first 1969 GTO convertible as a 17 year old teenager in the late 1980's (a ratty and rusty car but loaded with options). I set out to get another by placing a wanted ad in Hemmings Motor News in 1993. I wanted the car to have similar options as my first GTO so the car had to be equipped with two of my 'must have' options, which were hidden headlights and a/c. After a few calls to my ad, I found a car in Maryland and bought it on the spot. The milder climate in southern Maryland and some decent care by it's former owners preserved it for the most part. I looked at some real rust buckets where I live in Northern New Jersey so this car was the perfect candidate for a complete off frame restoration down the road. I drove the car for a few years and then took out a loan to have the car sent out for a frame off restoration in late 1999. The car was completed in 2002 by Nostalgia Motors in Boonton,
New Jersey. The car is nicely optioned with power disc brakes, power steering, scarce Warwick Blue, wood wheel, a/c, hidden headlights, remote mirror, eight-track player, headrest buckets with console, tilt wheel, turbo 400 AT, Rally II's, power windows, power antenna, gauges, door edge guards, tinted glass, cornering lamps, and power seat. The 350 HP 400 4bbl has some very mild performance enhancements but the car is basically stock. I would like to add the hard to find reclining bucket seat when I find one and maybe a Ram Air set up. The past summer of 2003 I got to show it and I won my first trophies. Since I was a teenager I have wanted a loaded new old 1969 GTO convertible and now I have one." CLICK->

Here's a comment from a recent visitor...
Says Ian Jackson in Liverpool - "Whilst I'm pretty certain I'll never own a GTO anytime soon, it doesn't stop me dreaming. I anticipate a number of return visits to just gaze at the pics."
