Here is where you climb aboard for a fast ride to the store or wherever. On the weekends, I like to take my GTO for quick trips to the store. Here are some funny "store" quotes from comedian Steven Wright...
"I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically."
"I went to the hardware store and bought some used paint. It was in the shape of a house. I also bought some batteries, but they weren't included."
"I was in the grocery store. I saw a sign that said 'pet supplies'. So I did. Then I went outside and saw a sign that said 'compact cars'."
1965 GTO hardtop drag car owned by David Michaels from Long Island, New York. This was our Picture Of The Week for 2/11/07. David describes his car, "It is a full bodied drag car with all factory glass. The only fiberglass is front bar. It is un-cut and not tubbed. It has an all iron 462 that has never seen NOS. It has a full 12 point NHRA certified cage and 29x11 slicks. I got 2-3 years ago, made some changes, and it goes 10.3/5 easy w/all out ran 9.97, 1.39 60'. Sorry race fans but this is fast for a heavy/Pontiac dragger." CLICK->

1965 GTO hardtop owned by Dan Howard from Rohnert Park, California. It is painted Midnight Blue Pearl. This was our Picture Of The Week for 3/25/07. Dan had this story to share, "My buddy, Jimmy, took me for a ride in this car when I was about 15. This car turned me on to Hot Rods for life. I knew that if I ever had the money to buy it I would jump at the chance. I finally talked him into selling it to me in 2004. He knew it was going to a good home, but was so devastated he couldn't bare to see his baby leave his home after a 25 year love affair. He did some engine work back in 1992 (bored .30 over, ported and polished the heads, balanced and blueprinted the engine), but then had to pretty much let it sit for the next 12 years. When I bought it the car needed and deserved a complete restoration. After two wonderful years of blood, sweat and lots of mullah, myself and Jimmy are extremely happy with the final result. It
is a PHS documented GTO 389 (now a 400 - still looking for original motor) four speed, three deuce car." CLICK->

Says Larry Parks (deuceguy.@city-net.com) - "I have not had a car in 15 years and would like to get back into the game. I can't tell you how many cars used to just follow me home. However I've been out of this for a long time and times have changed."
