CLICK-> White 65 Tempest Convertible Chris just picked up this white 1965 Tempest convertible. Chris explains, "This California #'s matching beauty was barn stored 13 years covered. It has had only 3 owners and 110k miles on the clock. It is a stock Fremont california black plate unrestored virgin, yeahhh! I asked if it was for sale and to my beliefs it was for $2500 cash on the barell! OF CORSE I FLEW TO THE BANK! The owner told me he had a Tri-Power setup for $900 - I'm like uuummm 'hell yes.'"

When I get it where I want it, it will be painted silver and charcoal two tone with a matching interior."

This GTO has a 389 Tri-Power, 4-speed manual, and a 3.55 rear. Joe tells us more, "This GTO was featured in High Performance Pontiac November 2000 - 'My Pontiac and Me.' It has been in the family since 1968. Dad used to race at National Speedway on Long Island in the early 70's. Some 'National Speedway' stickers are barely visible on driver's side back window. The car was in hibernation from 1984 until 1996 then I welcomed the Goat with open arms. I threw some new Hooker Headers on, new tires, new radiator, rebulit the M-20 tranny and off she goes."

CLICK-> Pontiac Graveyard Has viewer comments Take a look at this 1965 LeMans hardtop. It appears to be sitting on a 1966 LeMans or Tempest 4-door. Tom Bond sends these in. He explains, "While visiting my old home town in the Cascade mountains of Washington, I drove up the mountain to see if the old junk yard was still there. There was no listing in the phone book. Sure enough the dilapidated sign could be seen through the bushes. What I found was just what I remember from the early 70's. You won't believe these photos and just how many Pontiacs are there stacked up on top of each other. Hundreds! The owner is still alive and wants to sell lock stock and barrel for one million. Property and all! He said he had a dispute with the phone company years ago and told them to pull the phone line."

CLICK-> Junked LeMans' Has viewer comments More from this Washington junk yard. The white one appears to be a 1965 LeMans 4-door. On top of it is a 1968 LeMans front bumper. To the right is a 1972 LeMans.

It's owned by Greg A from Los Angeles, California. Greg has this story to share, "This auto was bought in 1967 by my brother before he went to Viet Nam. Upon his return he decided on another type of auto (an Audi), so my Mother took over the payments and used it. I was about eight years old at the time he got the car, and as little brothers do - I liked it and wanted one when I grew up. Well this car sat in my Mother's garage for over twenty years with me saying, 'I'm GONNA FIX IT UP ONE OF THESE DAYS.' About three years ago I finally got the chance, time, and money to do it."
CLICK-> Red & White 65 LeMans Normally we do not use camera phone photos because of the low quality. But check out this car's transformation.

Says Alex (thelipenator.@yahoo.com) - "I am a huge fan of the goat, especially the 1966 model. Whenever I show my friends my dream car, I just send them a link to one of your pictures of a 1966 model."
