Black 1965 GTO sport coupe owned by Bob DeMarco from Somerset, Massachusetts. This was our Picture Of The Week for 5/14/06. It took Bob about a year to restore it. It has a 4-speed transmission and a Tri-Power setup under the hood. How about a version for your desktop wallpaper; 800-600 wallpaper and 1024-768 wallpaper.

This is Alex Keddie's 1965 Numbers Matching, Iris Mist paint code, Tri-Power, 4-speed GTO. It is a frame-off restored, engine rebuilt GTO. Alex is a colleague of mine. He is a radio station engineer in the Indianapolis market. He works for a group of stations run by Entercom. They include WNTR, WZPL & WXNT radio. I found out about this car from a professional tower climber who works all across Indiana. The climber was doing some work for me at my Muncie radio station which is north of Indianapolis. The climber told me that there was another radio engineer like me who was also crazy about GTOs. What a coincidence. I thought it sounded like a made-up story until about a year later when I spoke with Alex on the phone. He emailed these photos... and the car is for real!
