White 1965 LeMans convertible owned by Gay McCleary from Carson City, Nevada. Gay had this to share, "This was my mom's car. It was ordered in February 1965 and picked up in March 1965 in Carson City, Nevada. It has been modified somewhat, but still retains original features. The paint is white with red pearl and ghost flames. It has a new convertible top with glass window, rebuilt engine with polished aluminum manifold, lots of chrome, Turbo 350 with dual-gate His & Hers shifter, 15x7 True-Spoke wheels, front disc brakes, and Posi-traction." Here you can see the white and red pearl and ghost flames on on the hood. They are on front fenders and doors too. CLICK->

The interior was professionally done. Many people appreciate the diagonal ribbed design in the seats for this model year. That, and the Pontiac arrowhead emblem made for a sharp look. CLICK->
Here is Abe's car during the restoration. It has some interesting company in the yard. CLICK->
The engine is finished on an engine stand. Here the exhaust headers are test fitted. They wrap right around the oil filter. CLICK->

Nightwatch Blue 1965 GTO Sport Coupe owned by Bob Leenstra from Kent, Washington. Bob tells us more, "I purchased it at Barrett Jackson Auction Scottsdale 2006. The car was raced by Vanice Pontiac Chev from 1965-1970. It set the D Stock record at Kearney speedway in Lincoln Nebraska. Then the car was raced by private drag racer from 1970-1975. He had a tow bar hooked to the front of the car. It then sat for 27 years and then was restored to the way it came from the factory. It is a pillar post car with original documented 389 Tri-Power, 4-speed with 3:91 rear, and an original interior. It has 15,000 original miles. If anybody has pics of this car with the Vanice logo on the car or any info on this car, I would greatly appreciate any help. Bob Leenstra 253-261-1198" CLICK->
