Blue Charcoal 1965 GTO hardtop owned by John DeKeyrel from Portage, Wisconsin. John tells us, "I've owned this car for close to 15 years now. It's always been white the whole time. Last year I totally restored the car myself putting it back to its original glory! I had the car documented by PHS and it's a factory Blue Charcoal, black vinyl top, Tri-Power 4-speed, Safe-T-Track rear axle with Soft Ray glass, AM push button radio, dual speed wipers, Deluxe wheel disks, rear back-up lights, power steering/power brakes, console, front seat belts with retractors, and floor mats. I believe this to be a 1 of 1 car with these options. The Blue Charcoal paint is a stunning color and with such high metallic it tends to color change in different light looking almost silver in the direct sunlight changing to dark blue/black looking after dusk or in the shade. I'm really surprised it wasn't more popular. Except for the Cragar wheels (which really look sharp) I tried to put the car back to as close as it came off the line as I could. It drives beautifully and turns heads wherever I go!" CLICK->

The interior is parchment and black. It is interesting how many things us car fans have in common. No matter which state you live in, there are similarities. For example, that's the same [Grant?] steering wheel I used to have on my very first car, a '68 LeMans in Indiana. That's the same model of York air conditioner (background) we have at work. Check out the speaker hole in the dash. CLICK->
