Purple 1965 LeMans owned by Tommy Olsson from Edsbyn, Sweden. This car was acutally sold new in Sweden back in 1965. It has a 400ci engine with "670" heads, Veiand manifold, Ram Air cam and headers, a TH400 automatic transmission, and a 10 bolt 3.73 rearend. See the old Cadillac in the background. CLICK->

This is what is under the hood. It is a 400ci engine that is 10 over new with Edelbrock heads, Victor intake, Crane mechanical roller special part #288511, 83# injectors, D1X polished Procharger with COG belt, custom inner-cooler, Eagle rods, forge pistons, two keyways on the crankshaft, BeCool radiator with cap, Aeromotive fuel with stainless steel lines, two inline Aeromotive fuel filters, high-torque mini starter, a Speed Pro computer, and Hooker headers. Another view of the engine. This is connected to a Turbo 400 transmission with a reverse body valve, 3600 stall, and a B&M ratchet shifter. The car also has a 12 bolt rear, Moser axles, 390 spool, drum brakes in the rear, and disk brakes in the front. CLICK->
Under this GTO are Flowmasters with electric dumps. The picture shows the dump in the open (low restriction) setting. The butterfly valve opens, allowing the engine exhaust a quick exit avoiding the mufflers. I bet it blows some flames too.
