Steve Shriver spotted this 1965 GTO hardtop outside of Denver in the spring of 2004. Steve tells us more, "You could still see the impressions in the paint on the rear quarter panels where the 'GTO' emblems once were. It had a straight frame with some minor surface rust and very restorable." Looks like a big monster took a bite out of the rear seat. CLICK->

The data plate is missing. The data decoding will be so easy for this one (not). Just call CSI Miami and they will be happy to bring out a cool device for reading the missing digits. They'd probably do it by touching an ultraviolet sensor to the area with a missing plate. Then it would make some "beepy" noises and print out a copy of the data plate. Or maybe the original VIN could just be found on the frame where the factory "hides" it. Or look near the heater box where the factory "hides" it. I do know one thing about this mystery car. The guy that took this photo has a full head of hair. CLICK->
