Michael Lacy sent in these pictures of a red 1965 GTO Drag Car. Michael tells us, "I was down to the details on buying this one. I couldn't get past the part where I'd have to trailer it everywhere. It has since been sold. I am still going to make a 'Brutus' tribute car." This car later made the Picture Of The Week on 2/13/05. CLICK->

Rudolf Johannsson owns this 1965 GTO convertible. He lives in Iceland! Iceland? Wow! Friggin' Iceland! A convertible in friggin Iceland? Whoaaaa. It has the original 389 4bbl, four speed, and 3.23 open rear. It came with Hurst wheels. Rudolf says that it is very rusty today. CLICK->
Montero Red 1965 LeMans (GTO clone) hardtop was owned by Brian Catania. Brian tells us, "I bought it from a guy who swore it was a GTO, but PHS came back different. It has all the correct stuff though: rally dash, red metallic interior, three speed turbo 350, 400 ci Pontiac engine, and a 3.08 posi rear. I restored it in three months - purchased for $3,000 and sold for $12,500." CLICK->

Jason Blair owns a burgundy 1965 GTO hardtop and a Pulse Red 2004 GTO. Jason tells us more, "My 1965 is a 389 4 barrel with factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM reverb, Rally gauges, power antenna, wood wheel, center console, and automatic transmission. Since I bought the car, I have repainted it, added front disc brakes, a new wiring harness, Bilstein shocks, Cragar SS wheels, Be Cool aluminum radiator and electric cooling fan, and I have changed the Powerglide out to a 700R4 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission... which allows for my 3.90 rear end gears! The paint on the 65 is now a basecoat/clearcoat called Patriot Red Pearl, which is the Burgundy color used on newer Mitsubishis." CLICK->
