Let's decode it: 3A is the date code 3=March A=1st week; 65-23737 is the model year of 1965 and the 2=pontiac, 37=LeMans, 37=Hardtop coupe; BF is the assembly plant in a 1964 format of Fremont; 8661 is the sequential body number; 218-3E is for the Parchment & Black interior; and HH is for Palmetto Green exterior paint and top color. The rest is decoded as: 2=Pontiac, 37=LeMans series, 37=hardtop coupe, 5 is model year 1965, Z is the Fremont assembly plant, 1=V8 engine, 16,025th V8 engine equipped car to leave this Fremont assembly line. White 1965 GTO Grand Mark 5 (also known as Grand Marque V) convertible owned by Shane Viger (sv@rushmore.com). This is one of 4 custom built GTOs from Pontiac that feature tiger fabric in the interior. It has been in the same family since leaving the factory. The engine has been rebuilt and the total mileage is 110,000. This is a RARE car - a Factory "Show"
