Don Johnson from Camarillo, California bought this 1965 GTO in the summer of 2001. It will be his first project car. When he found the car, it was in barely driveable condition. The seller had already run a check on it through PHS and it is an authentic GTO. He also has the build sheet. It has the original engine and carburetor. The interior is a mess but it seems to have all the original gauges, the emblems on the door panels and the dash are even still there. Overall body is really good. It's been in California most of its life so there is very little rust except the front floor panels. The frame is very sound. Don's boys went to look at it (age 19 and 17) and they were really excited. The car will be a family project. (That means daddy Don gets to front all the money and most of the work and the sons get to drive it!) They're already fighting over who gets to drive it first when it's done. Don paid $4,200.00 for the car as you see it here. CLICK->
