1968 GTO hardtop owned by Lee and Kathy Stagni from Minnesota. Yes, this car has some 1969 parts on it. This was our Picture Of The Week for 8/5/01. According to Lee, "The Pontiac engine is built on a reinforced 455 core that is bored and stroked to 474 cubic inches. Custom aluminum race pistons and R&R aluminum rods keep the rotating mass light allowing safely running the engine to 7200 RPM. The engine dyno reported 685hp on the motor that is equipped with a fogger system that routinely injects nitrous oxide that provides an additional 300hp bringing total horsepower near 1000. Torque is generated through the custom-ported Edelbrock Pontiac heads that flow over 340cfm through the titanium valves and shaft rockers." CLICK->

This 1968 GTO belongs to Ken Skistimas who is a web developer/designer/webmaster. It is Verdoro Green with a black interior, custom steering wheel, Dual Gate shifter, Rally clock, AM/FM radio, A/C, disc brakes, 3:55 posi, Rally II wheels and hidden headlamps. Check out the tiger tail hanging from the mirror. Ken has added a few extras to this car since he bought it in 1991. CLICK->
Ken's 1968 GTO has 2.5 inch aluminized exhaust with crossover tube, Ram Air IV cam, Blackjack headers, TCI 2000 stall converter, Melling Hi Volume oil pump, K&N air filter and B&M shift kit. CLICK->
