Blue 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Gary from Maryland. Gary was reading the 'Text Topics' article on this website about the Royal Bobcat cars. He writes to ask some questions, "Great article. I have recently purchased a 68 GTO and am trying to trace the history as this car has all the makings of an Royal Bobcat. The history is somewhat hard to follow as the original owner who had the engine changed to a 429 as I am told 'went to Viet Nam' and did not come home. Just at that - being a vet this car is really special to me. The second owner I have located in California, however is unclear about what he remembers per his caretaker. Are there any VIN# records on GTOs that were Bobcatted?"

It was built Nov 15 1967 and delivered December 24th 1967. The original owners have seen the restoration. My Brother also has a 68 GTO."
