Corbin sent in pictures of his project Verdoro Green 1968 GTO hardtop. Corbin tells his story, "I purchased it from the original owner back in the summer of 1995. The seller wanted $2500 for it, talked him down to $2000. My brother owed me $2K so I had him buy this GTO for me. Haven't had the time or money to restore my GTO, but I am in the process of restoring the engine at this time. It has a 400 ci, 2-barrel carb, 265 HP, 400 Turbo transmission. I'm currently looking for a 1969 Convertible, 4-Speed, GTO."CLICK->

Guy Hiney is restoring this 1968 GTO hardtop. Guy comments, "I'm taking the drive train out again. Bruce Smith is restoring it during this winter. Bruce is the same guy who painted Martini's Judge. Fantastic work he does! If you look a the Dec 03 issue of Car Craft, Real world cars, Dyno Proven, 300 to 900 hp, you will see my GTO. It's got a numbers matching 400, 4-speed. Sweet. Can't wait to put it together again in the spring. Yes, I have some tricks for the engine this winter although it runs nice now!"CLICK->
Here's a picture of the rear end in Guy's 1968 GTO. Gus says, "The 'N' on the punkin picture is for the hot forged axles/noduler iron case. It's very rare in a '68 GTO. It's been in it since new. I have all the documentation from the original owner."CLICK->
