Here's what lies under the bumper of this black 1968 RAV GTO. Looks like an electric fuel pump and a cannister fuel filter.CLICK->
Black 1968 RAV GTO, interior view. Looks like some small gauges placed right in the dash and a big tach on the column.CLICK->
And finally a closer shot of the Ram Air V engine. I asked his son, Brian, how they got ahold of a Ram Air V engine. Brian responded, "My father is the real RAV nut. I've been mainly the tag along person. He bought his first RAV stuff in 1970 thru the dealer and never stopped. He bought up everything he could find. By 1984 he had five RAV powered cars (including the 68 GTO) and at least a half dozen extra motors."CLICK->
This is how the car looked in the summer of 1968. It was an original black Ram Air I, 4-speed car. Jerry bought the car in 1981 as a half finished race car. He decided to put a RAV engine in it and put it back on the street as a prostreet car.

Aleutian Blue Metallic 1968 LeMans hardtop awaits an engine in the snow. This picture was sent in by John Sherwill from Aurora, Colorado. Here's what John had to say, "My parents bought this 1968 Lemans brand new from Bill Conda Pontiac in Waterbury, Connecticut. They turned it over to me in 1973. It was my first car when I was in high school. I added the American Racing Wheels, 70 series/60 series tires and of course Gabriel Hijacker air shocks, plus a Hurst Dual-gate shifter. Here it is ready for a fresh 350 HO long-block to be dropped in. I sold the car during my college years and have a lot of great memories."CLICK->
