Black 1968 GTO hardtop, engine view. You can see the air conditioning components on the firewall. You can also see the underside of the hood tach. The tach itself drops down through a big hole on the hood. You can see the wires that go up to the tach. The two yellowish plastic things above the wire are lightbulb sockets. Bulbs connect here and stick up through the bottom of the tach to light it up from within. Whenever the car is on, the hood tach is lit up.

Deep red (burgundy) 1968 GTO hardtop owned by Darrin Zaluski. This one is worth a closer look! Darrin added these comments about his car; "I'm not sure what the official name for the color is, but it is actually a Corvette red, very deep, almost burgundy. The vehicle was restored in '95, inside and out, by the father of a close friend of mine. The car has never seen a drop of rain since. It's not show condition, it is a driver, though it has won 4 trophies in competitions held during the Woodward Cruise here in the Detroit area and it is mostly original. It has the 400 Ram Air engine with a 4 speed Hurst shifter."
