1968 GTO undergoing a restoration. It's owned by Edward Casey. You can see more restorations by clicking on the Frame-Off Restoration Gallery link in the main menu below. Here's what Edward had to say, "This is a 68 GTO I bought from ebay. Originally, I bought it to sell and make a quick buck but once I saw it I knew I was gonna keep her (and man is it costing me!) Anyway, according to PHS it was built on 5/20/68 and sold to dealer 127 zone 4. It's a numbers matching goat. Paint is originally April Gold with a black vinyl roof and black interior. Options are 400 turbo trans af/fm with elect ant, rear defog, door edge guards (need them), hideaways, visor vanity rh/lh (need them), remote outside mirror, seat belts custom (replaced with nos standard ones), Rally II wheels, console, electric clock, rally gauge cluster and clock, remote deck lid release, power steering and brakes (drums), soft ray glass all windows, a/c, mats front and rear, lamp luggage & underhood, and last but not least white wide oval tires. I plan to add a hood tach and disk brakes. I'm leaning on painting her black with no vinyl roof."PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ... |
