A 1968 GTO from Mike Coddington (ImraldM@aol.com) in Mooresville, North Carolina. He likes to capitalize stuff. So here is his story in his own unique typing style: THREE YEARS AGO, I SOLD MY 1969 GTO JUDGE AND BOUGHT THE CAR IN THE ATTACHED PICTURES. THIS CAR IS GREAT. I BOUGHT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER IN LANDRUM, SOUTH CAROLINA. HE HAD THE ORIGINAL TITLE, KEYS, AND KEY FOB FROM THE DEALER. EVERYTHING WORKED ON THE CAR, EXCEPT FOR TWO LIGHTS IN THE DASH. IT HAS THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS: HIDEAWAY HEADLIGHTS, HOOD TACH, POWER ANTENNA AND AM/FM STEREO RADIO, POWER STEERING AND POWER ASSIST BRAKES, 400/350 HP WITH TH 400 TRANSMISSION, RALLY II'S AND THE OH SO COVETED FACTORY A/C. SHE HAS 87,000 ORINGAL MILES, AND THE ENGINE OR
TRANSMISSION HAS NEVER BEEN REBUILT. SHE DRIVES LIKE A NEW CAR! THE CAR HAS THE ORIGINAL SPARE AND HAD ZERO (0) RUST IN HER. I DETAILED HER OUT, HAD THE CAR REPAINTED AND A NEW VINYL TOP INSTALLED, AND GOT A NEW SET OF REPRODUCTION REDLINES. ONE OF THE COOL PARTS OF THE CAR IS THAT A WORKER ON THE LINE (KEITH PARSONS) PUNCHED HIS NAME ON THE REAR FRAME RAIL AND DATED IT 7/7/68! MAYBE HE DID IT ON HIS LUNCH BREAK. A LOT OF THE WIRE HARNESSES STILL HAVE THEIR PART NUMBER PAPER TAGS ON THEM. CLICK->

This 1968 GTO belongs to Blaine Scarford (blaines@westco.net) from Point Marion, Pennsylvania. It is a real Solar Red car. It has the original 400 with 12:1 TRW forged pistons, RAIV cam, ported heads, Torker intake, 750 Holley double pumper, HEI and RA exhaust. It has most of the goodies such as a wood wheel, hood tach, gauges, dual gate shifter AM/FM stereo and power trunk release. CLICK->
This beater is from Bob DeLorenzo (QBD002@motorola.com). He says he once checked this 1968 GTO out. It was well optioned but Bob thought it was overpriced ($4500) for its current condition. CLICK->
Right rear shot of this 1968 GTO beater. Looks like it may have been blue at one time. Now it's looks more like a rusty shade of blue. CLICK->
Interior doesn't look too bad on this rusty 1968 GTO. CLICK->
