Burgundy 1966 GTO hardtop owned by John Hotetz from Flushing Queens, New York. This was our Picture Of The Week for 6-21-09. John tells us more, "I bought the GTO from the original owner back in 1991. I had a ground up restoration done including a complete engine rebuild. This GTO was a cover car on 'High Performance Pontiac Magazine' in December 1992, and was also in the 'GTO Enthusiast Magazine' volume 2 issue 1, and it was in 'Hagerty Collector Car Magazine' volume 2 issue 3 fall of 2007. The GTO has the potent 389ci Tri-Power engine, close ratio 4-speed, and 3.90 Posi rear end. The options for the interior are; AM push button radio, rear speaker, hazard warning flasher, sports wood wheel, and a 4-speed console. The GTO has a total of 81,500 miles since it was new. It was originally purchased from Kellogg Pontiac in the Bronx, New York. When I bought the GTO, the original owner kept all the paperwork. The GTO wears the same New York license plate as when it was brand new in 1966. Lucky for me the original owner kept that too. Thanks for looking. 'Johnny Geeto' Geeto." CLICK->

Says Curtis Clark (theroadrunner99.@hotmail.com) - "I enjoy it and think you are doing a good job keeping the passion for the original muscle car alive."
