CLICK-> blue 66 GTO Has viewer comments Blue 1966 GTO sport coupe owned by Gary Gerber. This one has red fender liners. They were an optional item that was not ordered very often. The liners are made from a flexible one-piece plastic that bolts to the underside of all the fenderwells. They are now finally available as a reproduction item, if you want to add this option to your 1966 or 1967 car.
CLICK-> blue 66 GTO Gary's blue 1966 GTO sport coupe, front end view. You'll notice that the 1966 grilles look different from the 1967 grilles. The 1966 grilles were painted black like this, while the 1967 grilles had a bright criss-cross pattern on them.

CLICK-> Trained 66 GTO Has viewer comments Mel Hedrick of Mel's Drive In, Racing & Restorations, Inc. purchased a junkyard. He sends us pictures and stories for some of the Pontiacs that came with it. The cars are located at an old county tow truck company that was called upon by the local Police to remove vehicles from accident scenes many years ago. This first one is a black 1966 GTO that was hit by a train in 1973. All 3 passengers were killed.
CLICK-> Trained 66 GTO Rear view of this smashed black 1966 GTO. The trunk lid looks to be in pretty good shape. This would be a nice junkyard find. Ever found parts in a junkyard before? It is always an adventure, hauling a big piece of sheetmetal back through the woods to the junkyard office.
CLICK-> Trained 66 GTO Trains and cars don't mix. Many times, after impact, a car will get dragged a mile down the road by the train before it can stop.

Says Gene Bragalone (gbragalone.@yahoo.com) - "You seem to need to addresss three diferent main reader types and you do it well. The "original" fans, the "Just get by" group, and my favorite, the folks who like to look almost original but like to have it perform well so will do things like scrap the junk ignition and ... install different distributors."
