Alan describes the origin of his car, "This car came out of a carport after sitting since 1982. The previous owner claims it had been 'caught in the rain' twice and he drove it home and wiped it down, other than that, never been driven in the rain. And for a Washington state car, that must explain the low miles because it always rains here LOL." CLICK->
Montero Red 1966 GTO convertible owned by John Cartier from Flanders, New Jersey. This was our Picture Of The Week for 12/14/03. John tells us, "This was a plastic-free, rust-free, original, two owner, Oregon car. It was restored to GTOAA gold concours worthy. The car came with all original documentation, all numbers matching mechanicals (engine, trans, .. etc to protect-o-plate), M21 4-speed, Rally guages, Tri-power, RARE red on red paint, and AM-FM. A totally worthy piece of eye candy for the pickiest of GTO lovers! And just totally FAB to drive and show!! Just NICE!!" CLICK->

Red, White, and Blue GTOs. This was our Picture Of The Week for 1-18-04. The Nightwatch blue one is owned by Kevin and Michelle Doud. The White one is owned by Jerry (Moon) Mullen who drove over three hours to help make this photo happen. The Red one is owned by Al Swearingen. Barrier Blue 1966 GTO hardtop owned by Tom Allen from Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. This was our Picture Of The Week for 7/18/04. Tom comments, "Last year I submitted pictures to the Ultimate GTO Picture site and was amazed at the great reception it got from people who viewed it. Over the winter, I put another $2,700 into the car and except for a Tri-Power unit next year, I am almost finished with it. Some of the new items are a wood steering wheel; wood grain dash; all new door handles, window cranks and ash trays; all new pedal pads and stainless trim; wheel opening moldings and rocker extensions; new valve covers and air cleaner to replace the Edelbrocks that were on it; new front bumper; trunk mat, spare tire cover and correct trunk paint were some of the major projects. I also got correct center caps and lugs for the Rally wheels and bought G70-15 Firestone redlines to put on them. I bought all the stickers for under the hood and in the trunk. The engine has been freshly painted. The battery holdown and washer pump were missing and are now on the car. Some little things include the fuzzy dice, tiger tail, Hurst emblem, GR-RRR! plate, and new license plate frames."
