Paul sends in some updated pictures of his Blue Charcoal 1966 LeMans hardtop. Paul adds, "I have made many changes to the car and have even taken it to the 04 Nationals. Something happend to the car while on the trip which made the car get a lot of attention." What happend Paul?

Black flamed 1966 GTO convertible owned by Randy Hodson. This was our Picture Of The Week for 7/7/2002. Randy says, "My love for GTO's goes back to 66 when I was 10. My uncle had a 66 convertible." Here's some information that Randy provided:Engine: Polished Aluminum 632 Donovan, 14:71 Hampton Blower, Billet Rods, Dart 360 Heads, Hydraulic Roller Cam, Distrutorless Ignition System. Transmission: Polished Aluminum 2 Speed Powerglide, 10" Converter, B&M Pro Stick, Art Carr Transmission Brake. Rear End: Chromed Dana 60, 4:10 Gears, Wilwood Disc Brakes. Suspension: Special Chromed, 4 link with Coil overs by Mean Street Performance. Chassis: Custom Built 12 Point Roll Cage Assembly. Hand Bent to Clear Convertible Top and Full Interior. Fuel System: Dual Jazz 16 Gallon Cells, Dual S-x Performance Fuel Systems, 5/8" Fuel Lines, 3/8" Return Lines, Feeding two 1050 Dominators. Body Paint: Base Coat, Clear Coat Black, 4 Color House of Kolor Candy Flames, 10 Coats Clear. Interior: Custom Stitched Black Leather by B&K Upholstery, Flames by Dan Mansur, Custom Sound by Rich Fish. Candlelite Cream 1966 GTO hardtop owned by Kev Staalesen from New York. This was our Picture Of The Week for 3/16/03. Kev added, "This one was assembled in Pontiac Michigan during June of '66. My GTO includes all matching numbers, including correct casting dates (intake, carb, heads, block, etc). It has 107k on the body, 7k on the rebuilt motor. It's powered by the original YS code 389 V8, 335hp, 4 bbl carb, super-turbine 300 transmission (2sp) on the column (no console!), and a 3.23 non-posi 'one-wheel peel' rearend. Options are P/S, P/B, am radio, sepera-phonic rear speaker option, rear window defogger, wood wheel, cordova top, and deluxe wheel covers with whitewalls. That's it. 100% original, 100% GM. I also have all original dealer paperwork, manuals, etc., including the factory window sticker (attached to side glass in the attached pic). When I bought the GTO (sprng of 2000), it had Rally I wheels w/Hoosier street radial tires. I use those for 1/2 of the season, and then the steelies/wheelcover combo during the other 1/2."CLICK->

This was how I rewarded myself for saving hard-cash for 2 yrs straight (tax return checks, profit-sharing checks, and any & all spare money that was leftover after the bills were paid!). It's SO much easier to save money, when there's a 'GTO-reward' at the end."CLICK->
