Here's another of Mel Hedrick's old Pontiacs. This 1966 OHC6 Sprint is the remains of a deadly street race when the car was hit in the passenger side sometime in the early 70's. The car has been sitting so long that trees are growing up through the engine compartment. CLICK->
1966 OHC6 Sprint looks like it was red. It is being humped by an Oldsmobile. CLICK->
Here's a white 1966 GTO in Mel's yard. This one was used in a Bank robbery in 1969. The robbers didn't get away after slamming the car into a police road block. That is the driver's door being used to prop the car up on its side. Some of the car's underside components have been removed. Someone must have needed the brakes and suspension parts. CLICK->

Another vintage photo. Ahhhh Yes! TRIPOWER! ... This is what a "factory correct" tripower looks like. That's because, this picture was taken the day the car was bought from the dealership in 1966! CLICK->

Says Patrick Noonan (knoonan.@stny.rr.com) -"I'm 13 and am looking for a car that I can drive in the next 3 years when I first get my license. This site has really helped inspire me in getting a '67 all black GTO hardtop."
