Red 1974 GTO sent in by Ron Hamm Jr. This is our Picture Of The Week for 5/18/03. There were only 1036 GTOs that had a hatchback and an automatic transmission. Ron (rshammjr@fuse.net) is not the owner, but this car has been owned by the same person for more than 14 years. It was recently restored. Everything was either redone or replaced. The engine is a 455 Crate instead of the original 350.CLICK->

Red 1974 GTO, right front view. I think the body-colored side mirrors were much more attractive than the little chrome mirrors on previous years. Besides the fact that they match the car, they stayed adjusted better than the older ones. GM must have saved a ton of money with these bullet-style mirrors. They started using them across most of their brands.CLICK->

This is a black 1974 GTO owned by Mark Webb from Salisbury, North Carolina. This was our Picture Of The Week for 3/4/07. I did a stained glass effect on it! Pretty cool, eh?
