This is a 1974 GTO coupe that used to be Denver Gold. It was advertised with a 455ci engine and an automatic transmission. It's 95% complete and is 75% original. It was for sale on a website called http://liensaleauction.com To see if it is still there, use their search box and type "GTO" in there.

Mike Buzard found this 1974 GTO in in Emmett, Idaho. It has a Curry 9" with 4:10 locker and Dynaflow 3-inch exhaust. Mike adds, "It has a nice new set of Rally IIs that are 15x8s. This will go well with my collection that includes a 64 GTO, 64 Tempest, 69 GTO, and a 04 GTO."See some of Mike's other cars with the help of the Advanced Picture Searcher loaded with owner=Mike Buzard. Buccaneer Red 1974 GTO owned by Jim Fautsch from Avon, Minnesota. Jim tells us, "We saved the 74 from death. We got it eight years ago and did a two year restoration on it. The car is all stock. Its the GTO that nobody liked (mabye a few of us)." CLICK->

Yellow 1974 GTO owned by Moe Al-Sharif from Youngstown, Ohio. Moe had this story to share, "I bought this car [in Mid 2010] from a doctor who'd bought it for his teenage kids to drive. They'd amassed around $1,000 in speeding tickets so he figured it'd be cheaper to just sell the car for a loss. It's got a built up Chevy 400 motor with a Borg Warner T10 4-speed transmission (not sure of years). The paint is actually in good shape, save for a few chips and the fact it's almost certainly that enamel duplicolor stuff you get at the auto parts chain store. The front seats are from a Buick Skyhawk (HAHAHA). The floor pans need patched/replaced and my rear bumper sags but that's the only bad part of the frame. I plan on restoring the car as close to possible to original over the winter (I'm enjoying driving it right now), except maybe the motor because, well, I'm young (22) and I live in an area where 'car guys' my age prefer turbo charged Japanese cars with plastic stuff and flashy lights bolted on. But I always tell them, 'There's no replacement for displacement!' The only other '74 I know of around here is Diz Dean's which is currently rated #1 on your pictures page! He's a heck of a nice guy too. Notice the pink and purple GTO tags!" CLICK->

Says J. S. Griffith (griffithfam.@erols.com) - "I very much like your GTO web page. You might want to consider renaming it though. Sure you have loads of awesome "goat" shots, but you also offer so much info on so many different aspects of the venerable muscle car. I suggest something along the lines of Ultimate GTO-lovers fantasy land."
