That's some door panel mold. If you have allergies, stay away from that stuff. At least don't put your tongue on it or breathe it. And don't eat mushrooms that grow on carpeting. Ugh! The dangers of toxic mold are that they can cause serious health ailments but are hard to detect. A microbiologist can only determine differences between just mold and toxic mold. Common symptoms of toxic mold exposure include memory loss, allergies, and breathing difficulties. People with existing respiratory illness, asthma, and infants should be especially careful because of the fever and mold infections that can be suffered within their lungs due to toxic mold exposure. Raise your hand if you ever seen one of these! This is a 1974 LeMans GT! I've never seen one of these, not to mention the "Unique" stripe scheme. It is owned by Bob Murphy from Long Island, New York. Bob says that it is all original with a 350ci 4 barrel, 4-speed manual transmission, one repaint, and only 51K miles on the clock. Yes, it's parked next to Unique Autosports. CLICK->
On this website at UltimateGTO.com, you can see photos of thousands of cars. Other websites have that too. But this is the website that shows a nice photo caption with details about the specific mods that have been done to a car. The owners supply not only the photos, but the information that makes the photos worth looking at. Here is a Black Cherry 1974 GTO owned by Scott Mezzapeso from Youngstown, Ohio. Scott tells us, "I have had the car about four years. This past summer [2007] was the first it was on the road and registered since 1989. It spent the years from 1989 till 2004 in a pole barn covered in bird poo. It is a 4-speed with the original motor. This car has new stainless brake and fuel lines from Inline Tube, chrome Rally II wheels from Wheel Vintiques, new front springs and rear leaf springs along with all new brake parts from
Tamraz, plugs, wires, hoses, radiator, Holley carb and misc. under hood
parts. I also had custom headers made." CLICK->

Check out the 74 GTO license plate. There you have it. Ohio is the birthplace of aviation. In 2003, Congress settled the dispute about where aviation started. Congress confirmed that Ohio, not North Carolina, is the birthplace of aviation. The U.S. House voted 378 to 3 for a resolution naming Dayton, Ohio (home of Wilbur and Orville Wright) as the place where aviation was born. The measure then passed the Senate. Ohio is now the state taking credit for the start of "powered" aviation. CLICK->
Orange 1974 GTO owned by Todd Root form Oakdale, New York. This one has a 455 engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. Todd is planning on taking it back to Buccaneer Red. CLICK->

Ed White created his version of a 1974 GTO convertible. Ed tells us, "Had to see the '74 done as a convertible. I would actually start the surgery with a Nova then add all the GTO parts. The engine would definitely be a Trans Am spec 455. The bumpers are narrowed and tucked, the wheels are of my design based loosely on the honeycomb TA wheel and the stripe was something I came up with that wasn't the same old Judge stripe. (not that I dislike the Judge stripe, just that everybody puts it on anything with GTO written on it)" Ed has many GTO drawing on this site. Check them out with the help of our Advanced Picture Searcher loaded with condition=artwork and owner=Ed White. CLICK->
Ascot Silver 1974 GTO owned by Rick Hannah from Aurora, Illinois. Rick tells us, "I have owned this car since new. I picked it up from Kole Pontiac in Oak Lawn in November of 1973. I custom painted it in friend's two-car garage in the summer of 1975. I entered my first car show, World of Wheels, in November of 1975 and took second place in Late Conservative
Hardtop. I had the custom interior installed in September of 1976 and took first place at the 1976 World of Wheels. The car has 74,000 miles to date, put on by just going to car shows and cruise nights!" Check out the custom 1974 GTO plastic model Rick is creating. CLICK->
