Robert Paouncic is in the process of restoring his 1974 GTO. He is painting it Gulfmist Aqua. Robert adds, "I got this car four years ago [2002] for $1000. I did a frame off rotisserie restoration. It has the orignal engine-transmission-rear end. Every number matches on this car. The only thing I don't like is the column shift. I hope to have it ready for spring of 2007 for cruising."CLICK->
Robert has the top and inside edges all painted in Gulfmist Aqua. The prep work looks real neat. I'd like to have THIS guy paint my car.CLICK->
The engine compartment looks great!CLICK->

That is a 350ci Pontiac engine which is bored 0.30 over, 280H Comp roller cam, and an HEI ignition.CLICK->
This is the first window sticker I've seen for a 1974 GTO. The base cost for the car is $3,007. This car has $2,055 in options! The GTO option is $439 and consists of the 4 barrel 350 V8 engine, 3-speed floor shift manual transmission, E70x14 blackwalled fiberglass tires, remote mirror on the drivers side and fixed on the passenger, Rally II wheels without trim rings, dual exhaust, firm shocks and stablizer bar, functional shaker hood scoop, specific front styling (what ever that is), and the GTO identification. Notice that the bucket seats is an option.CLICK->
