Silver 1974 GTO under restoration. The owner, Tim, tells us, "If you want this car, I'm asking 5 grand. Its got a just rebuilt 400 .030, rebuilt 350 turbo trans, new gas tank, carpet, griffin radiator, Mallory distributor, Weiand intake. It also has a shaker GTO hood. I have all the original functions for the shaker. The body was taken down to bare steel and was very straight to begin with. All the body lines are straight but the guy messed up painting it. It is a very solid car."

This Black 1974 GTO has 8,304 original miles it. Why? The story goes something like this. When the current owner purchased it in Arkansas in 2002, it had 576 miles on it. The guy that purchased it was told that the car was one of three that were specially built for and given to General Motors Vice Presidents at the time. This car had been put in storage, then sold twenty something years later.
