Carousel Red 1970 GTO owned by Howard and Vicki Brown from Omaha, Nebraska. This was our Picture Of The Week for 6/6/04. In April of 2004, put it up for sale. Here's more from Howard, "Due to medical reasons (bills and forced to retire early), we are going to have to sell 'OUR BABY'. It will be listed on eBay in June. '1 BAD GTO!' - The license plate says it all. This is a PHS numbers matching GTO that was born in Fremont, California. From the beginning, I decided this car was going to be personalized just for me and done 'my way'. The ONLY reason I’m going to let her go, is my wife has been diagnosed with a life altering illness and the hospital is wanting their money for some previous bills and my health is failing, as I had polio in 1949. Our bad fortune is your good luck. This 1970 GTO went through a 2½ year COMPLETE restoration." Click here to see all the pictures of Howard and Vicki's 1970 GTO.

hood mounted Tach, rear spoiler and Judge decals and the proper pin
striping. The paint is Carousel Red which was a 1969 color code, but
has always been my favorite Judge color."

Carousel Red 1970 GTO hardtop, engine view. Howard tells us about the drivetrain, "The ORIGINAL 400 C.I. motor was rebuilt from top to bottom. We added a mild performance cam, Mickey Thompson valve covers, Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with the matching breather and a Mallory high energy output electronic ignition. We rebuilt the ORIGINAL TH 400 Turbo Hydromatic transmission and 'beefed it up'. The engine, tranny, brakes, suspension and differential have less
than 2,000 miles on them and the rest of the car has approximately 500 miles on it. It runs fine on premium 92 octane gas from your local gas station, has no drips or leaks and starts and runs perfectly!"

Blown Carousel Red 1970 Judge owned by Bill Bolin from Shady Side, Maryland. This was our Picture Of The Week for 7/4/04. That engine looks taller than the roof of the car! This picture was taken at the Ocean City Cruisin event in May of 2004. Bill tells us, "It has a 474 with 671 blower, turbo 375 transmission, 9" with 4.56 gears, M/T 33X18.5 ET Streets. This car is street driven to shows 2-3 times a week."

Here's a closeup of that 750hp engine under (and through) the hood of Bill's 1970 Judge. Bill adds, "That is a 474 with 671 blower 13% overdriven with custom made headers, Maziere electric water pump, twin Holley 850 Supercharger carbs, 6H heads, custom ground roller cam, and MSD distribitor."

Bill's Carousel Red 1970 Judge at the Ocean City, Maryland - "Cruisin Ocean City Event". Do you like his new hood ornaments? See three hot Hooters girls. They are from the restaurant at 123rd St Bayside. That's in Ocean City, Maryland. Ocean City has an assortment of nightclubs with suggestive names. Don't believe me? There's Hooters, Big Peckers, BJ's On The Water, Brass Balls & Bad Ass Cafe, and the Bearded Clam! I am NOT kidding. All those ARE actual names of Ocean City nightclubs. They all come from a directory - for real.
