1970 LeMans the owner, CW, called "The Orbiter." I bet the picture to the right is before it was redone.

1970 4x4 GTO Hillbilly car. This was our Picture Of The Week for 5/7/00.

This one has some nice pinstripes on the nose. It has two grille emblems.
CLICK->
It looks like it is bolted to a 4x4 frame. The power antenna is on a different side than normal.
CLICK->
More nice pinstripes. They have a key guard sticker around the door lock. This sticker keeps the paint from being scratched with the keys when you unlock the door.

This thing is ugly.

Six years later [fall of 2006] this same red 1970 GTO 4x4 appears for sale on eBay. The thing is still alive! The paint is duller, there is more rust, and someone added a set of curb feelers and a spoiler. The description included, "One of a kind 1970 Pontiac GTO, professionally sitting on a 1979 K15(Blazer) full-size full-time AWD chassis." It is hard to believe that this was professionally done ?!?

The owner says, "The Blazer frame was modified to fit the GTO, so a person could return the Goat to factory." Do you think it is worth bringing back? The dataplate says:

TR 254 19 PNT

A spoiler has been added. Click here to compare to an identical shot from 6 years ago.

The engine is also from the 1979 K15 Blazer.

Look around inside this interesting monster muscle almost-truck vehicle. I would assume one of these shifters is the transaxle. Maybe the one toward the dash? Although the owner said that it was full-time AWD.

1970 Judge advertising. This was our Picture Of The Week for 5/21/00.

Here's the full page of that advertisement for the 1970 GTO Judge. It is readable. It lists the Judge options for 1970. Only the white 1970 Judge had black hood scoops. Note that the spoiler and hood tach are still body color.

1970 GTO along with a 1969 Judge. It's owned by Tom Hart from Tennesse. This was our Picture Of The Week for 8/6/00.
