This was our Picture Of The Week for 11-18-07. Scott tells us more, "I bought the car for $300 in 1988. After the military and 2 kids, I started working on it again. That was three years ago. It has a 455 4-speed. I have done all the work myself including the paint. It is a blast to drive and always turns heads."

CLICK-> 1970 Has viewer comments Not all the photos on this website look shiny like they just popped out of a car factory! We've learned to appreciate a look at cars with potential. I'm looking into this dull cracked Endura nose and it makes me itch to get out a sander and make it beautiful again. Site visitor, Jeff Klein, shares with us pictures of his friend's 1970 GTO in the weeds. Yes, there is another 1970 GTO in the bushes next to it (off to the left). Despite the obviously neglected sheetmetal, this is our Picture Of The Week for 12-9-07. Jeff tells us more, "These GTOs belong to my very good friend who I've known since 1986. He used to have 10 1970s but they all got gone but two are the only ones left. They've been here since 1990 but he plans to bring them home finally. They were completely buried in honeysuckle vines."

This was our Picture Of The Week for 12-16-07. Craig has this story to share, "I had traveled to Denver Colorado to pick up a 70 GTO. I drove 17 hours to find a rust bucket full of Bondo. I came across a another 70, called and talked. He said I wouldn't be disappointed with the car. I drove two hours back to Denver and it was georgeous. It is a #s matching 455HO for the same price guy wanted for the piece of rust. I loaded up and headed back to Canada. He had it dressed up with Judge spoilers, stripes, and Ram Air. I added the hood tach and 15-inch Rallys. I've heard there were only 14 Judges in this paint scheme. I don't think you could tell the diff unless you broke down the #s. Also has an original Judge emblem on glove box."

It was our Picture Of The Week for 6/8/08. This is a numbers matching Ram Air III Judge with a 3-speed automatic turbo transmission. It wears it's original color inside and out. It has an 8-track player inside. Adam added the wheel trm rings. Adam adds, "This is a project ten years in the making. Little by little every year getting closer to the day she was born. She's come a long way but we're not at the finish line yet."

It was our Picture Of The Week for 9-24-08. Mike tells us, "This is my 5th GTO convertible and must say the nicest. I'm 99% finished the four year frame off, nuts and bolts restoration. It has a SR400cid with STD pistons, Ram Air III, and a 4-speed. I have the original Rally wheels with red walls."

Check out the different no parking - or "No Stopping" sign. The sign has a black stopsign shape with a red line through it. The arrows < and > indicate that there is to be no stopping left and right of the sign. Oh - Whatever! The car looks real good stopped on the street, eh?

This is our Picture Of The Week for 10-12-08. Richard tells us more, "I bought this Judge in 1988. The original color was Orbit Orange with a Saddle tan interior. It was sold new in Tampa, Florida. It was stolen from the original owner and recovered in Wisconsin. A farmer had bought it out of the Wisconsin state paper in 1978. He was king of the local high school for about one month till the 1969 428 370 h.p. engine spun a rod. It sat with the engine pulled and the interior out until I began bugging him about selling it in 1987. Early in 1988 the farmer began hurting for money. He needed a new manure spreader and didn't want to borrow any more money. I got a call and 1,250 dollars later she was mine. I spent the next five years restoring it. I didn't like Orbit Orange when I was that young, so I painted it the 70 Cardinal Red. Most of the interior was lost so I bought a black 70 GTO black interior back when such things were fairly available. In went a 400 engine mated to the original TH400 trans and 3.23:1 non-Posi rear axle. I didn't install the factory A/C. I added a few things. Aftermarket wheels, headers, valance chrome, tilt column, Pontiac vacuum gauge, and a hood tach. It's been a great car for many years of show duty. I've met many life long Pontiac friends by owning this car. I still continue to upgrade things over the years and now have even grown to like Orbit Orange!"
