Roger Wydler owns this Atoll Blue 1970 Ram Air IV GTO hardtop. It has undergone a full restoration. Roger tells us, "The GTO was purchased from Delaware back in 1997 for $8500 dollars and received another $43,000 during the restoration which included all NOS chrome, NOS front fenders, quarter panels, trunk lid, front and rear valance, and rear bumper. Every light and lens on the GTO is also NOS GM." Roger says this car had the ultra rare Vacuum Operated Exhaust (VOE) dealer installed. CLICK->

Atoll Blue 1970 GTO hardtop, interior view. I see the Ram Air knob under the steering wheel. The Vacuum Operated Exhaust (VOE) option should have a knob next to it. Roger still has the entire VOE setup including the original mufflers! He is currently restoring the system and will re-install it soon. For mufflers he plans to use either Flowmaster Super 40s or Tom Hand's VOE muffler recreations. CLICK->

This is an original Vacuum Actuated Exhaust (VOE Tiger button car) optioned 1970 GTO hardtop with the invoice! It is a bit small but readable. The only thing left on the GTO from the VOE option is its vacuum canister attached to the inner fender. PHS came back as Polar White with Black cordova top, dark brown buckets, console, 400 350hp engine, automatic transmission, 3.55 Saf-T-Track rear end, G70-14 white letter tires, remote mirror, hood tach, power steering, power disc brakes, Soft Ray windshield, ride and handling, decor group (Deluxe wheel covers and wheel opening moldings), AM radio, rally gauge cluster, and the all-important Driver Controlled Exhaust. You can see this option on the last line on the right. It is called out as DR CONT EXH option 611 and it only cost $63.15 CLICK->
Al Rosell sends us pictures of his friend Kurt's triple black 1970 GTO convertible. Al tells us, "It had a frame off restoration, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tilt wheel, power top, cruise control, 350 auto. We work on a lot of GTOs at Rosell's Citgo in River Vale, New Jersey. All of my customers call us "GTO Underground". I may start a new business." CLICK->

Cardinal Red 1970 GT-37 owned by Jeremy & Christy Schaeffer from Reading, Pennsylvania. Jeremy tells us more, "We purchased car on eBay May 2006, from a gentleman in Ohio. It is PHS documented, 62k miles, code XV 400ci 330hp engine, Turbo 400 transmission, and 10 bolt Safe-t-track rear. It has mostly original paint and the interior is all original. I had been looking for a GT-37 for approximately two years, never thought I'd find a '70 (1,419 made)." PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...
