This Pro Street Carousel Red 1970 Judge is worth a closer look. It's owned by Bill Bolin from Shady Side, Maryland. Bill had this to say, "It has a 400 Pontiac engine with a 671 Blower. I switch from an Enderle Bugcatcher injection to dual carbs depending on my mood. It has a complete chrome moly tube frame, not just back halved. It has a Ford 9' rear w/ 4.56's and a Turbo 375 transmission. The body consists of a fiberglass front end and decklid, steel doors w/ Lexan windows, stretched wheelwells, and a Judge rear spoiler. The car weighs 2700 lbs. ET/MPH to be determined."

Bill has been doing some work on his blown 1970 Judge. Click here to see a shot of the accident on the way to the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio last year. Besides some body work, Bill is working on his engine. Bill explains, "The new 'double blower' setup will be an 8-71 on top of a 6-71 with a Super Chiller Intercooler under them. This will be topped off with a 400HP nitrous system for even more grins. I will not be racing it with the double blower setup. That will be for showing and cruising. I will switch to the single 8-71 blower for racing purposes."

Bill is also repainting his 1970 Judge. Bill tells us more, "It is PPG Orange Glow over a silver base. In the picture it looks more gold than orange but in person the orange really shows better. I will be putting it back together and have it ready for Cruisin Ocean City (Maryland) event in May 2006. I will hopefully be back at Norwalk with the new paint job and my 'double blower' setup."

Here it is all together. Bill tells us, "Well, here it is almost complete. I had to take the 'double blower' setup off because it wouldn't clear the hood and I didn't have time to cut and repaint the hood before the Ocean City Md. Cruisin event. I will have the double blower setup on it shortly."

Bill has his Judge back in the garage for another try at the double blower. Bill explains, "Well, here it is finally. I will be working the bugs out for a while but it runs and drives. Lots of stuff still left to do to the car but it's getting closer. By next year, it will be the way I want it. The engine is a 474ci Pontiac engine with two blowers. The top one is a 8-71 blower and the bottom one is a 6-71 blower. I also have a Super Chiller intercooler under them to help control heat issues. Lots of other goodies on the car too, such as a 400HP nitrous kit, custom Griffin aluminum radiator, Turbo 400 w/ 9" converter, Ford 9" rear with 4.11's, Mickey Thompson 33 X 18.5 ET Street rear tires, Hurst Lightning Rods shifter, custom interior including 10 Autometer gauges in the dash, custom made headers, 3-1/2" exhaust all the way out the back (changing to 4-1/2" soon), fiberglass front end and decklid, and some more stuff."
