Palisade green 1970 Tempest hardtop owned by Marc Powell from Monmouth, Oregon. Marc says, "I have had this car for almost one year. It is the proverbial 'little old lady' car. It has 68,000 miles and I just like how simple it is. I added the 16-inch American Racing TT II wheels and hope to add power disc brakes also. My son (now 13) will probably drive this car when he gets his license. 1970 GTO 2-door station wagon? This hybrid between a 1972 LeMans wagon and 1970 GTO was found for sale on ebay July of 2001. The description says, "The wagon is offered with a 1968 GTO 400 cubic inch motor, which needs to be rebuilt. It also has a M21 4 speed transmission, factory air conditioning, factory disc brakes, and power steering. The description said, "This car is the original Bamboo Creme color with original tan interior, has a white power top, ralley wheels, 400 small block engine, 4spd trans. on the floor, power steering, new windshield, rear anti-sway bar, front air dam, car is in excellent running and driving condition and is garage kept."
