Black 1967 GTO owned by Gary and Deb Henderson from Lafontaine, Indiana. It was our Picture Of The Week for 1-11-09. Gary tells us, "We purchased it in 2000. We are High School sweethearts and I owned a 67 while we dated. We always said we will someday own another and it took us 25 years. We have been married 33 years. This is our oldest daughter's wedding. My wife made her dress."

White 1967 Tempest Sport Coupe owned by Kirk Brust from Minnesota. This was our Picture Of The Week for 3-15-09. Kirk comments, "This is my 1967 Tempest coupe 232ci 1bbl. OHC 6, auto trans and manual everything else. I purchased it in 2003 from someone who had only owned it a few months. He told me he'd bought it from the estate of the original owners who were an elderly couple when they purchased it so it hadn't been driven much. The car had 20,000 actual miles on it when I bought it and was a completely untouched original down to the belted tires. I have photos of the car on a farm somewhere in Iowa were it likely spent much of it's life sitting in a protected building. The chrome, weather stripping and interior are like new and the sheet metal is rust-free and virtually free of dings. Cosmetically, I added 15x7" Rally IIs to fill out the wheel wells a bit, cleaned and repainted the engine bay and waxed the still shiny Forty two year old original paint. Mechanically I've replaced the necessary parts of the engine, suspension, brakes etc. to make the car reliable and very road worthy (it now has just over 30,000 miles on the clock). Although the '66-'67 GTOs are (in my opinion) the best looking cars on the planet, this Tempest will not be cloned and I plan to drive and maintain the car as-is."

Mariner Turquoise 1967 GTO convertible owned by Sam Yeager from Edas, Tennessee. This was our Picture Of The Week for 5-10-09. Sam tells us more, "This Goat spent most of its life in Arizona. It has received a frame-off restoration with trunk pan replaced (only sheet metal repair). Originally it had a turquoise top and a three speed. I replaced three speed with five speed and changed top to white due to inability to find original top color! This has a factory bench seat with tile wheel, Power disk brakes, aftermarket AC, Rally gauges, Posi-Track, iPod radio connection, and Tri-Power added. It retains original motor. This is the third '67 convertible I have brought back to life along with a '70 Judge and a '69 Firebird convertible cloned into an TransAM. I believe I will keep this Goat for a while!"

It has a white interior and a bench front seat. Check out the bent floor shifter. That's so you clear the seat in the odd gears.
