What's under the hood of Pete's Signet Gold 1967 GTO hardtop? Let's take a look. Pete adds, "I am just finising having the motor rebuilt. A note to all those 'back yard mechanics' out there - if you don't know what you are doing or are not sure, leave it to the experts! Someone who owned it before me decided to do a cam job and installed a nice Crane Energizer cam, but used the wrong spring retainers and the old spring shields and the spring shields broke apart and went every where, Hence the reason for the rebuild of the motor. But it will all be worth it when it's done."

Silverglaze 1967 GTO hardtop owned by John Capriotti from Scottsdale, Arizona. This was our Picture Of The Week for 6/25/06. John tells us more, "I just purchased this. I had been looking for this exact year, model, color combination for over 15 years. I had this same car brand new in 1967 and sold it in 1969 to get married. I have been married 36 years and now we were ready to find the car that we enjoyed in high school!"

Glenn & Jason Evers own this awesome Signet Gold 1967 GTO hardtop. This was our Picture Of The Week for 8/20/06. Glenn had this to share, "My brother and I purchased this car on eBay with only one second left in the auction. It was in great shape with only 38,000 original miles but needed a resoration. We are 90% done and other than the engine rebuild and front end assembly, we did all the work ourselves. This is our first time doing a restoration. We made a few mistakes but think we did an ok job. We recently took a Silver at the New Jersey GTO Regionals."

This is Dell Munn's 1967 LeMans post coupe. What an honor. This was our "Purple Of the Week" for 9/24/06. Dell tells us more, "It has a 389 bored 30 over with dual quads, gear drive cooler, ceramic coated headers with 3 inch exhaust, and Flowmaster mufflers. It has a 4-speed Borg Warner transmission. I built this car from a shell and did all the work myself except spraying on the paint."

Gold 1967 GTO convertible owned by Wade Ettleman from Laramie, Wyoming. This was our Picture Of The Week for 11/19/06. Wade tells us more, "I bought the car from its original family in 1987. It was 95% original. The car came from the factory with Rally gauges, tach, A/C, 8-track, H/H, and cruise. I drove it for several years, then stored the original drivetrain and now run a .030 428 with a 200-4R overdrive and a 3.55 posi. The overdrive was the best thing I could have done to this car. You can't tell it has been changed and it makes an awesome road car now."
