Tyrol Blue 1967 GTO hardtop owned by Buddy and Gypsy Dix from Roanoke, Virginia. This was our Picture Of The Week for 1/8/06. Buddy has this story to share, "After 35 years of dreaming, I found this one on eBay three years ago. It was all in one piece and running condition. The car came with the originial California plates, push button AM/FM radio, dealer sticker, owner's manual, and the California only AIR injection system still hooked up and operational. The car was built in Fremont California in December 1966. It was a one-owner, matching numbers 400 c.i. with His & Hers Shifter. Having a folder full of reciepts in the trunk with the original owner's name and number, I contacted her and mailed her photos of the restored car. She ordered the car from Tate Motors in Ponoma, California. Tyrol Blue on black with black pin stripe, including factory 8-track tape deck is what she ordered it with. She and her husband owned and drove the car for 35 years. Recently she sold her house and shipped me the original jack and stand that she found in the garage. The car rides and drives beautifully and is always a hit at car shows, bringing home many trophies." How about using this picture as your desktop wallpaper; 800-600 wallpaper and 1024-768 wallpaper. Signet Gold 1967 GTO hardtop owned by Dick Kansky from Hernando, Florida. This was our Picture Of The Week for 1/29/06. Dick had this to share, "I am the 4th owner of this car. It was first owned by a dentist in Florida who traded it for a 66 modified GTO in the 80's. The second owner sold it to a GTO collector in New York so he could buy a Judge in the early 90's. The third owner sold it to me so he could buy the dream GTO of his youth. I bought the car in 1998 and have since moved to Florida. Now the car is back where it started. The car has no modifications. It is 100% stock." This shot comes in two desktop wallpaper sizes; 800-600 wallpaper and 1024-768 wallpaper. CLICK->
