Linden Green 1967 GTO hardtop owned by Michael McMillan from Denver, Colorado. This was our Picture Of The Week for 1/30/05. Michael tells us more, "My car was the Picture Of The Week 10/13/02, back when it was red. The car is coded H2 which is Linden Green (with black vinyl top). I finally got around to having it repainted the original color! I was not able to keep my optional Spinner hubcaps (which are featured on the pre-restoration pictures of 10/13/02), due to inability to acquire straight 14" steel rims that were deep enough to accept a hubcap. So, I bit the bullet and opted for the American Racing Torq Thrust D's. Fortunately for me, they had just come out with GTO center caps which of course I had to have! I used to live close to Old Town in Kissimee Florida, near Disney World. They claim to have the largest weekly gathering of antique cars in the Nation. Usually there are close to 450+ cars there every Saturday night for the cruise."

Linden Green 1967 GTO hardtop, engine view. Michael tells about his engine, "I am now a 'restified' car, meaning only minor and desireable upgrades. I have a Rodney Red Aluminum radiator, what a difference that makes! I had the Edelbrock Pontiac Performer Intake #2156 powder coated and custom matched paint for the Factory YS Block. The car has an Edelbrock RPM #1910 850cfm Quadrajet which really woke the car up after the complete rebuild. I am running a Blue Racer Crane Cam # WG1169 which is slightly above stock, but very much highway friendly, as well as HEI ignition."

Linden Green 1967 GTO hardtop, interior view. Michael adds, "The seat covers, bucket seat springs and foam are new parts from Ames Performance Engineering. The door panels and headliner and all emblems are from Performance Years Inc. Performance Pontiac did the rechroming of the Dash Bezel. Ssnake-Oyl did a wonderful job restoring my Deluxe Seat Belts! Topping things off are the great Kenwood loaded custom Kick Panel Speakers from JS Classics which prevent you from having to drill any holes in your doors! Factory 8-Track and AM radio are still in place, while a Pioneer CD Player with Remote occupies the glovebox."

Michael shares some additional pictures of his Linden Green 1967 GTO hardtop. Michael tells us more about this rear one year only factory color, "Linden Green (code H2) is a silver metallic green whereas 1966 Palmetto Green is more of a blue green. 1968 had the almost hunter dark green called Verdoro Green. By far, this is one of the truly great colors to have in 1967!"
