Here are some updated shots of Chuck Lennox's Omaha Orange 1967 GTO hardtop. Chuck's son Joe comments, "The car was purchased new by my Grandmother in 1967. It doesn't have many options. It did come with Rally I wheels, automatic with the His/Hers shifter, and the reverb unit. The interesting thing about this car is that it came from the factory with the Omaha Orange paint. At the time, the salesman told my Grandmother that it was one of 11 from the factory with that paint color. The story was that three of the cars were sent to LA to be sold, where my Grandmother purchased this one. My Father remembers seeing one or both of the other ones around town on occasion during the late '60's. We have been unable to verify how many of these Omaha Orange GTO's were built, but it was obviously very few, as we have never talked to anyone who has even seen another. The cowl tag on the car does not show a factory paint code. In the space where the paint codes normaly are, this car shows a '1'. If any viewers of the website have any information at all regarding Omaha Orange '67 GTO's, we would love to hear from them." CLICK->

It's a fairly mild rebuild, but Mr. Butler really gets the power out of these engines. It runs like a dream. The transmission was rebuilt at the same time." CLICK->

Says Tom Houle (mysterious1.@sprynet.com) - "You were kind enough to send me a great and extremely helpful e-mail message with numerous GTO sites on it. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciated your help...locating a beautiful blue `67 GTO, original 400 YS motor, original Hurst Dual Gate Automatic which I drove home. I have been smiling ever since!"
