Cato Halvorsen from Norway owned this lowered flat black 1967 GTO hardtop back in 1989. Cato comments, "I drove this car the whole summer in 98 and believe it or not, this was a head turner! Flat-black paint, black
windows all around, and we also lowered the car (6 inches). This was a great summer. When someone want to buy it for $19000, I had to sell it. For this bunch of money I had a opportunity to buy something better and I did!"Click here to see other cars that Cato owned with the help of the Advanced Picture Searcher loaded with owner=Cato Halvorsen. Cato adds, "This was a red car in a very bad condition. We fixed some rust and painted flat-black just for fun." CLICK->
The paint goes on. See the floor. This is a common technique to keep the dust down in the paint booth. Wet down the floor so no dust can get kicked up. CLICK->

Turquoise 1967 GTO owned by Tom Knutzen from Kennewick, Washington. Smile Tom! Tom adds, "I inherited my GTO from my Grandmother who ordered it in December of 1966. It was delivered in March of 1967. I've had the GTO since 2000. It is all original paint, vinyl top, engine-YS coded 400, and Hurst dual-gate shifter. The GTO has only 69,700 miles on it and is a blast to drive. Although that Verba-phonic sound system sounds a bit antiquated, it still operates perfectly." CLICK->
