Here's something you don't see very often. A set of GTO NOS 66/67 red fender linders. They were found for sale on the internet. They were described like this, "1966 was the first year that the red fender liners were used by Pontiac. These were plastic shells molded to fit both front and rear wheelhouses and are considered a rare option. Very few cars were ordered with the red fender liners. As Jim Wangers has said, "We couldn't give the liners away!" As a result, this option was eliminated after the 1967 Model year." CLICK->
NOS 66/67 GTO fender liners. The description went on, "Well this is your lucky day! What you see here for auction you will probably never see again! This is an NOS set of NEVER INSTALLED Pontiac GTO Red Fender Liners. When the liners were ordered, they were usually placed in the trunk of the car by the factory and were to be installed by the dealer that the order was placed through. This set of liners was never installed by the dealer and the original owner chose not to have them installed, and placed them in storage until now." CLICK->
