This 1964 GTO is from Matthew Ritter whom recently acquired it. He tells the story like this:
It now resides in New Jersey. My dad and I purchased the car from the second owner in April of 2000. It's Nocturne blue with the original blue interior. The car has the original engine with
tri-power, 4 speed, Safe-T-Track, a perfect wood wheel, splitters and custom wheel discs. The car had been sitting for a year when we bought it, and we had it running that afternoon. With just a brake job and fluid change, it was a driver.
The only other two owners kept everything, even a log for every tank of gas, oil change, and even yearly compression checks! We even found a receipt for an
engine rebuild, a mere 6,000 miles ago. On top of that, we learned that the rebuild was by Chuck Roberts, the author of The GTO Restoration Guide. And he gave the engine quite a rebuild. He bored the engine .030 over and slid in a RA III cam. The heads
were given a competition valve job, decked, and pocket ported. It runs like a tiger should.
The car came with two car loads of new parts, from carpet, headliner, and most interior stuff to
weatherstripping, emblems, grilles, moldings and more. For now, we are driving the GTO regularly and enjoying it. It will soon get the restoration it deserves, but we hate to give it up to the resto shop, it's too much fun to drive! CLICK->

The serial numbers verify this. The car is from California and has no rust-out in body panels. This GTO needs total restoration. It does not have the hood, engine trans, front bumper, rear glass, right door glass, windshield and some small parts. It does have the interior, console, and new front coil springs. CLICK->
