Gulfstream Aqua 1964 GTO hardtop owned by Cap and Robin Proffitt from Ellinwood, Kansas. The Proffitt's tell us, "The first owner sold it to a Montana resident after one year. It stayed in the same family until the summer of 2007 when we bought it. The 389 has been 'built' and we've freshened up the engine bay, interior, and have done some suspension work. While there will be some that don't care for the cowl hood, we're going to give the car a 'different look' for awhile. Not to worry, the original hood is safely in storage." The Proffitts also own a 1965 GTO. Click here to see it with the help of our Advanced Picture Searcher loaded with year=1965 and owner=Cap Robin Proffitt.

The car does not have any power assist options but it has the options that I wanted - a 389 and a 4-speed. The numbers on those options match the build sheet."

NEW POST Marimba Red 1964 GTO sport coupe owned by Henry Rhodes from Manhattan, Illinois. Henry tells us, "My father bought the car in the summer of 1986 to replace his first car (1964 Tempest destroyed in the early 80s) for a father and son project when I was 7. We are the third owners of the rust free all original 1964 GTO. I grew up learning how to work on cars because of this one. It was handed down to me a few years ago and my sons will get it when they get older... THANKS DAD!"
