Matt says that this was the neatest Pontiac he found at that junkyard. It was a white 1964 Tempest convertible with a 326ci engine and an automatic. It had pine needles up to the dash CLICK->

Joe Gaudette from Edmonton Canada owns this Marimba Red 1964 GTO sport coupe. Joe tells us, "Originally from Portland Oregon, this 1964 GTO post made its way to Edmonton Canada around the mid 1980's. It is an original 389 4 bbl engine, M-20 with a 3.23 posi. The engine and trannie were replaced with a 1970 400 and turbo-400 when I bought the GTO in 1997. The engine and slush box was immediately pulled. The following spring I had a fresh 1969 400, M-21 and a 1967 12-bolt 3.73 posi back in it. It is a 13 sec driver. Best of all, it's an original survivor with less than 60K and still has original paint! The engine was pulled last summer and donated to my 67 GTO rag, a 421 round port roller engine with 4.33 gears is in future plans while retaining a manual trannie, should be fun!!" CLICK->
