The Judge has Cragars on this vintage racer. CLICK->
The car still has its dealer license plate frame that says "Ray Faro Pontiac" on it. CLICK->
I found this photo and article (next photo) in the March 13th, 1970 Chronicle Telegram newspaper from Elyria, Ohio! It's a vintage photo of Ray Faro's 1969 Judge. The photo looks great and was taken by a staff photographer. CLICK->
Here is the article about the car from the March 13th, 1970 Chronicle Telegram newspaper. The article does a great job of explaining the history of the car to that date. It has three quotes from Ed Faro, the nephew. CLICK->
I spotted another outstanding 1969 GTO parked in the pits at Norwalk. This Pennsylvania car had some admirers. CLICK->
There's an electric fuel pump back here. That's the Fram fuel filter hanging down from the fuel cell area. CLICK->
The car, like many race cars at the multi-day event, are trailered. CLICK->
Here's a real nice Ram Air GTO. Ted Lewis brought this 1969 GTO down from Michigan. Pontiac Builds Excitement. CLICK->
That's a real clean Ram Air setup. CLICK->
Here's a rare view of a power antenna. Ted's 1969 GTO has this power antenna on the rear quarterpanel. Observe the location of the grounding screw. If you're wondering if your old GTO once had a power antenna, you might be able to verify it by looking for this screw hole. Or simply look for a big hole in the top of your quarter! Whatever... I love this ratty-looking Judge and I don't know why. Everytime I see it, I have to snap a photo. The car is ALWAYS at Norwalk, nice going CLICK->
The 1969 Judge has the green light and will make up some lost time to beat that Firebird. CLICK->
This is a Carousel Red Judge that is screaming "badass". Look at dat stack of stuff. CLICK->
I regret that I did not see this car go down the track! [smacking forehead] CLICK->
Ahh! Dual quads with high-rise Victor Ram Air! And I didn't get to see it race! Oh, the humanity!
