NEW POST The 1967 Tempest has some unusual custom hood scoops. They have flames airbrushed on them.CLICK->
NEW POST What caught my eye about this early-issue 1968 GTO was the Rally 1 wheels. The tires also say "Rallye". That's cool. The car is from Denton Gordon Jr in the state of Virginia.CLICK->
NEW POST Here's one of the few times you'll get to see a "400" emblem on the rocker panel of a 1968 GTO. Usually, Pontiac reserved those emblems for Firebirds. But a few of the early '68 GTOs did come with "400" emblems from the factory. There were a very small percentage of these cars that came with Rally 1 wheels and "400" emblems.CLICK->
NEW POST Here is the basic all-black interior on this Automatic car. There is no factory air conditioning.CLICK->
NEW POST The engine compartment on this 1968 GTO looks almost all stock. The car has no power brakes.CLICK->
NEW POST The rear of the car has some nice straight lines. Look how good the trunk lid fits. Denton's GTO also has a vintage-looking license plate and a rear-mounted power radio antenna.CLICK->

NEW POST The owner, based in Maryland, has a unique look for the front of the car. He painted the grilles the same color as the body of the car. Red grilles? I can't look away. The more I stare it it, the more I like it. You know, when William Porter was designing the Endura bumper look for the '68 cars, he was going for an "integrated" look for the front of the car. He wanted the bumper to blend with the front fenders for a seamless flowing streamlined "bullet" design. That's why Porter had the bumper the same color as the fenders. The red colored grilles help the grilles blend into the design more. Not bad!CLICK->
