CLICK-> Two-Tone 67 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] There were many different types of awards given at this event. New for 2008 were some special awards for drag racers. The one for "Best Appearing Crew" was presented to Kauffman Racing Equipment. "Best Engineered Race car" award went to Doug Hopkins. And the "Best Appearing Race car" prize was won by Alex Tavana.

Here is a 1967 GTO on the showfield at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. The car has a 2-tone paint scheme.
CLICK-> Ram Air Tri-Power [an error occurred while processing this directive] There is a very clean Tri-Power setup under the hood. The 2-tone paint theme was carried through to the engine compartment. Both the silver and orange colors were used here. The firewall has been smoothed out as well.
CLICK-> Two-tone Interior [an error occurred while processing this directive] The interior in this car is a standout. The designs are pretty cool. But I just wish my '68 had built-in cupholders in the console like this car!
CLICK-> Two-Tone Interior [an error occurred while processing this directive] All the seats have a matching theme. Look at the custom interior panels.
CLICK-> Two-Tone Trunk [an error occurred while processing this directive] The trunk area looks plush.

CLICK-> Burgundy 67 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] This 1967 GTO is a striking car. I like the "Addiction" artwork which appears on the front and back of the car. The car is owned by Joe & Gretchen Barber from Pennsylvania.
CLICK-> Addiction Artwork [an error occurred while processing this directive] Here is a closeup of the "Addiction" artwork. A tiger tail was incorporated into the design.
CLICK-> Dual Quads [an error occurred while processing this directive] Here's the engine compartment of the "Addiction" car. Most items are silver or red.
CLICK-> 67 GTO Interior [an error occurred while processing this directive] You are viewing the interior of this 1967 convertible GTO.
CLICK-> GTO Emblem [an error occurred while processing this directive] I just noticed the tiger tail on the pinstripe. They also have painted the inside portion of the "GTO" letters orange.
CLICK-> Tiger Tail [an error occurred while processing this directive] The fine details on this car make it a standout in the crowd.

CLICK-> White 67 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] Here is Tom Hamilton's 1967 GTO from Ohio. This car might swallow you up. Front the front you can see a portion of the optional red fender liners. This car won 3rd place in the class called GT-2 for GTOs 1966-1967.
