Looks like a vinyl top, but it is not. This one has a white painted top. This is a two tone paint color that was available for most years of GTOs. CLICK->

There's a 400HO engine under the hood of Stan's 1968 GTO. Notice how this car has the underhood lamp option. The lamp is that silver fixture on the firewall, to your left of the voltage regulator. The switch for the lamp is located to the right of the voltage regulator. When the plunger on the switch goes up, the lamp turns on. If you show your car with the hood up, you have to remember to defeat the lamp so your battery does not run down. You can either unscrew the lamp bulb, or disconnect the positive battery cable from the battery. Notice how this '68 car is wearing a '69-style air cleaner. The '68 had a single snorkel. The '69 had two snorkels (and probably performed better than the '68 did anyway).

Gold 1968 GTO drag car built for fun. This one has a LeMans trunk lid and rear bumper. It's got a GTO hood. This car has one of the "Three Stooges" license plates. It says "SOITENLY". CLICK->
Blue 1969 LeMans convertible. Convertible tops tend to balloon when you get over a hundred miles an hour. They've added a duct tape seal at the top of the windshield to keep air from ripping the top off. This one has an incorrect 1969 GTO valance under the bumper. The LeMans emblem is missing on the front fender just behind the front bumper. This one is built for racing. It's got a roll cage and no back seat. CLICK->
