... PICTURE SET CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS PAGE CLICK->NEW POST I like the reflection in this photo. The 1968 GTO is parked in front of the screen at the Tri-Way Drive-in Theatre in Plymouth, Indiana. Between the movie features, they still show vintage intermission films and movie trailers. I rate each theater on a five star scale. I'm giving the Tri-Way 5 stars for overall appearance/appeal. Enhancing the appearance, they had colored lights all along the fence rows, shining up the fence panels. Unlike many drive-ins, nothing in this place looked beat up or worn out. They get 4 stars for the snack bar restaurant. I got a combo meal which was priced very reasonably. It was a delicious cheeseburger with a pile of fresh lettuce, fresh tomatoes, a generous portion of french fries, and a Pepsi for just $6.50. They would have gotten 5 stars, if not for the attitude of all the adolescent girls at the counter. It was obvious that they did not care to interface with the customers, avoiding all eye contact with everyone. They were not enjoying serving patrons in the least, looking out into the distance, "What do YOU want" style. Oh, well, they didn't seem to like working the counter, but at least their food was good. They get 5 stars for projection quality & sound. I enjoyed
the bright picture and clear sound. I'm giving 5 stars for their prices, not high. They get 5 stars for the restrooms. Tri-Way gets 5 stars for their showmanship. I would return to this place someday to try the golf.
This is an informal tour...
Show up if you want. Don't if you don't! Drive whatever you want. Bring your GTO for a pretty good shot at being the next "Picture of the Week" on UltimateGTO.com this summer.
